1st day to looking hot

Posted 05-29-2008 at 08:45 PM by Koontz's girl
Today is the day. Yesterday an acquitance said she described me to someone as 'big'. I don't want to be that person anymore. Today I ate 3 hard boiled eggs, chicken breast w/ cheese, ham salad w/ black olives, banana peppers, carrots, cucumbers, cheese and oil and vinegar, snack- 1 pickle slice and a cheese stick.

Today, I was proud of myself. I know tommorrow will be hard but I am doing this. Don't give in self, please.

Day 3.....Always eat sitting down

Posted 05-29-2008 at 07:30 PM by laurihill
That is my diet message today. I didn't finish the homework, which was to figure out a way to remind yourself to always eat sitting down. I found myself standing in front of the fridge eating a piece of lunch meat. Now I have 2 notes, one on the fridge, one on a cupboard that simply says SIT DOWN.

I was extra hungry today, so I ate more, but of food on plan.
Breakfast: the same
morning snack: chicken hotdish
Dinner Chicken hotdish and coleslaw
snack: Atkins bar
Snack: SF jello
Snack: 20 almonds
Supper: salad with cold chicken chopped...

Not fast enough

Posted 05-29-2008 at 05:50 PM by Maja
My scale isn't moving fast enough . I lose 1 lb, then nothing for DAYS, then another 1 lb, then nothing for DAYS. I don't have the "woosh" other people have where they lose a few lbs at one time. Hmmm maybe it's because I weigh myself every morning.
It drives me nuts because I would love to see more of a difference but the good news is that the scale is moving in the right direction.

I have to say, fitting into smaller sizes is an AMAZING feeling. I love wearing my size 18/20 shirts .
