Sam's 30 day Atkins Blog

Posted 05-14-2008 at 09:09 PM by Sam
Well, week one has gone by with ease. The sick and tired feelings I have had are past me now and I feel back to normal. I was expecting a huge rush of energy, but it has been a slow, gradual increase. Monday I went back to the weight clinic for a refill of my "legal speed" and a weigh-in and was surprised to find out I had dropped 14 pounds. It has been a month since I last weighed there and some of that could have come off before I started Atkins, but I really didn't do much in the way of diet or exercise until I started the diet on the 4th week. If I have that much of a loss next month...

Day 1 of my blog. The learning process begins. . .

Posted 05-14-2008 at 06:02 PM by feather319
This is my first journal entry. Although I have been keeping some journal entries on the daily plate, the LCF blog site is where I am going to store my journal from now on. First of all, here is a little info about me if you haven’t read about me on the LCF bulletin board before.

My food is on http://www.thedailyplate.com/diary/who/feather319.

I’m 24, 5’10’’ 155-168 pounds (morning and night).

My lowest I was 120. I started in 2002.

Highest 180 - prior to 2002

I've gained a significant amount of weight the last 2 years-...

This week's weigh in

Posted 05-14-2008 at 01:05 PM by slimdays
I was shocked that I lost 1.4 because my home scale was not showing me that. I was preparing myself for a half a pound or less. So 1.4 was really good news.

I went to my favorite seafood place and have the seafood platter for two with hubby. We onion rings as well. I enjoyed every bite.

I did this the night of my wi so that today I could just get back on plan and drink lots of water and eat lots of bunny food.

Hey it is a lifestyle, not a diet. Right?

I expect to do that every week tho once I move to my summer cottage I...

Good day today

I've not been using fitday today as my hubbie has been working from home and hogging the laptop. I've kept to induction though and just been feeding my hunger so am feeling good. Pilates was great fun too and I'm proud of myself for keeping up the exercise. Swimming planned for 7.30 tomorrow morning.

Weekly Check In

Posted 05-14-2008 at 11:22 AM by unsociabelle
150lbs today.

Not a good week but it could have been worse. Well, it should have been better. I know that anything real and worth having does not come easy. I need to focus a little harder and ease down slowly in the right direction.
I only need to get to 143 to stay in the game with my friends. That seems so hard since I have bounced up and down so long. I need to take a deep breath and crawl forward. I was cruising along too well for so long that I was getting smug and cocky. I was wondering why some of my friends were struggling so. Maybe now was my time to walk a mile...
