The Lord just keeps blessing me day after day and year after year!!! He woke me up this morning to 37 years on this earth!! That is truly enough for anyone to rejoice!! Thank You Father!!!

I don't have any plans today. My husband is taking me out Saturday. To the comedy show and to dinner at Bob Chin's Seafood! Pray for me ya'll...this place has some really good seafood!!

Getting ready to get some exercise in. I have to treat my temple good!! It is precious to Him and I should revere Him and feel the same.

Not quite sure of how or where to post daily.
I think maybe to my own blog? I should find out soon enough!
I have some goals that I need to keep my eyes on. Goal number one: to be at 135 lbs by September 16, 2008.
I think I'll put a tracking chart here to watch my progress.
Although I welcome any comments, I basically treat this like a diary to myself. To try to talk myself into reaching my goal and to read others journaling for insight and inspiration.
I am a true introvert, but I like people...at a distance! I like to read, so lurking works for me. I get...

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Posted 04-24-2008 at 05:37 AM by Reg
Our family vacation is over and we're leaving sunny FL today. Our flight is at 1:20, and we'll be leaving MIL's around 11.

We are all packed with very minimal laundry to do when we arrive home.

The trip was great !! Nice to sit by the pool most days and tan. We went on a few day trips. DH and the kids went to see the FIL 2 days (who I really dont like). I can't keep the kids from seeing him, but I'm certainly not going to listen to his lies and BS (a story for another day) and waste a perfectly good sun-day on him.

I am looking forward to getting...

SONG OF REDEMPTION by Lynn Austin

Book Two of CHRONICLES OF THE KINGS series

WOW! I just finished this sequel: it is so incredible! Pretty darn graphic as it describes the evil that was the Assyrian Empire ... yet King Hezekiah remains committed to God, especially when it made no sense to do so. I found great peace in reading this tale as I continue my resolve to put my family's needs above my career demands. This has been a very difficult time for the past four months as I struggle against an immature management team, a highly demanding senior management, and simply too many circumstances beyond my control...

GODS AND KINGS by Lynn Austin

Book One of the Chronicles of Kings Series

My mom is reading these books, and she let me borrow book one here. This is historical fiction following the life of King Hezekiah. The first book follows his abusive childhood through his coronation revival. I have always loved the story of King Hezekiah ... Zechariah, Micah, Isaiah are three of my favorite Prophets and they were all contemporaries of his.

This series is AWESOME ... I plan on reading my way through the other books. Thankfully my library carries them.

I even lent this to a Girlfriend...
