3 egg whites and sm amount yold
1 cup steel cut oats
2 TBSP flax seed

Dinner:
salad at the Hitching Post
Chicken breast
cheese
1 egg
lettuce
dressing
Snacks
1 atkins bar
1 cup yogurt
Supper:
Turkey rollup

Exercise:
40 min. upperbody

Tomorrow
breakfast: the same
dinner: chicken salad with apple and pecans
snack:
yogurt
protein shake
Supper
chicken fijiatta on a rollup
8 glasses water...

22.5 pounds

Week 2, Day 1

Had a very strange time with food yesterday. I had my usual breakfast, then went to Starbuck's to do some writing and had an iced coffee with half-and-half (love their iced coffee!) By the time I got home, it was lunch time, but I thought about what had planned for lunch (veggie crumble with zucchini and diced canned tomatoes) and just didn't feel like it. I tried figuring out what I felt like having.

And out of habit, of course what first popped into my mind is "junk food"! So I took a short walk to the 7-11 and even got as far as picking out some candy. But then I just...

4/7/08 Weigh-In

Weigh-in history so far:

3/10/08 (start date): 240
3/17/08: 232
3/24/08: 231 3/21/08: 229
3/31/08: 232
4/7/08: 230.2


I was hoping for a better weigh-in because I weighed mid-week around 228. I need to be careful not to eat too many nuts (have a jar at my desk) and LC desserts and/or bars because I don't want to lose too slowly. I want to be a healthy weight before we try to get pregnant!

A new milestone!!!

LBS: 231.0
bf%: 39.6
Change: -3.2 lbs
Total lbs lost: 30.0

I've decided to do my weekly weigh-in here.

This morning I am at an even 231.0, which is my official 30 lb loss point. That is very exciting!

Other good things from the past week: Went to kickboxing, went hiking, DIDN'T buy the drumstick ice creams that were on sale at the store yesterday. Lots of little victories.

The plan for this week: continuing the meat and egg fast as best I can. When I aim for that, I end up doing something more akin to Atkins...
