Week 2 Weigh In

Posted 04-14-2008 at 05:00 PM by tammay
Weighed and measured this morning and here are the results

Weight: 138 (down 1.5 pounds)
Measurements: down .5 inches all around

I'm very happy with these results. I'm definitely in no hurry to lose weight, as long as I'm able to stay away from the junk food binges, make better choices, and put my mind and body in a mindset that will get me to think about other things in my life besides food.

I feel positive today because I found an online university that is offering part-time work along the same lines as what I'm doing now. I sent a resume so...

Weekly weigh-in

Posted 04-14-2008 at 04:31 PM by GreenEyesofOakland
weight: 232.6
bf %: 39.5
fat: 91.877
lean: 140.723

Man, thinking of the fact that I'm carrying around 91 pounds of fat is a little gross. That is a lot. A LOT a lot.

On the flip side, the fact that I have 140 lbs of lean body mass leads me to believe that my goal of 180 is not so unreasonable on my 5'9 frame.

Eat until I am satisfied??

Posted 04-14-2008 at 01:22 PM by slimdays

I find the programs that require me to only eat when I am hungry and stop when I am satisfied are difficult for me. I don't even know when I am hungry. I think I have spent my life not being hungry. Eating something several times a day never getting completely empty.

So the points system seems to work for me right now. Perhaps with time in I might learn about my true hunger and might even try the core side of the ww's program.

I find...

Had another crazy weekend of driving everyone around. I did manage to get some good walking time in with DD yesterday. I wont get home until around 7:00 tonight but I will try to get another mile in today. I should have my treadmill in a couple of weeks so I am really getting excited I really want to get into the 170's this month The last 3 numbers before the next set of ten pounds always seem to take the longest to go

Everyone have a great week
