Day 3/Feel GOOOOOOOOD!!!!

I think i must be in ketosis - my mouth has a funny tang to it, my hunger levels have definately dropped - I had dinner last night at 5pm and didnt eat after that - not at ALL like me!!! I dont understand why I feel so much better than last week - I have more energy, im less sleepy, and SOOOOOO much energy - I actually said to my son last night - im buzzing - i dont know what to do with myself!!! And Ive woken up this morning, and feel just the same. I hope this lasts - I really do feel great!

The only thing I can think of that I am doing differently this week as opposed...

A new me!

I'm really excited about starting the South Beach with a different attitude this time around. I'm so sick of reality T.V where I sit there watching everyone else succeed whilst scarfing down empty calories! This must stop!! Although I can't control myself sometimes..(those reality shows are highly addictive)...grrr....My goal is to set mini goals for myself. This week I plan on drinking a lot more water, and really paying more attention to what I put in my body. When I don't pay attention (ie. eat in front of the tv) I tend to overeat and it gets just plain ugly!
I have to learn to do...

Tuesday - weigh-in day

Today is my wi day. I lost another 2.2 lbs!! I was surprised because I had lost 2.4 lbs last week. I must be doing something right eh?

I have a big smile on my face today. It is nice to have a good loss after a week of hard work.

Our meeting was about emotional eating. I think my leader is struggling with her own weight. She keeps speaking to those who are having difficulties during the week.

I am not having difficulties. I am having the time of my life. I cannot recall another time when I was doing so well on a weight loss plan. I...

Day 2

Well, yesterday went very well, except that I didn't get in all the food on the menu I planned, which left me eating around 1000 calories (which I know is not enough!)

I did feel a bit "off" yesterday, though. Not nausea or tired or crabby - I actually was in a good mood and had energy enough not to take a nap in the middle of the day - but just "off". Part of that might have been because I think my body is still trying to flush out all the junk food I ate over the weekend.

Last day... I weighed in at 164.6 despite my cream overload the past few days. I do have to emphasize that I weighed in at 164.6 about 3 or 4 days ago. Tomorrow morning I will have my official induction weight loss number.

I am trying to figure out how I should change my diet tomorrow. For a while, I was saying no cheese, no cream... but those are my favorite parts of this diet! I could try it, I suppose. The other option is 2 oz cheese, 2 oz cream (instead of 4). I'll keep thinking about it...

B: 2 eggs, 1 oz cheese, 1 cup cucumber, decaf w/ 1 oz cream and 1 stevia...
