What a crazy weekend. I had to stay at db house to drive him everywhere and clean his house. Dont mind cause its exercise. This is another real crazy week for me. tons of driving. Kids back to school. Chemo again this week for other brother. TOM coming soon I hope. I am ready to start seeing that scale move. March was a little slow in weight loss so I really need to get exercising in April. Everyone have a great week.

Maya Angelou on the subject of complaining:

Angelou says that when "whiners" would come into her grandmother's store in Arkansas, she would go through a routine that would begin by quietly beckoning Maya to come closer.

Then she would bait the "whiner" customer with "How are you doing today, Brother Thomas?"

As the complaining gushed forth she would nod or make eye contact with her granddaughter to make sure Maya heard what was being said.

As soon as the "whiner"...

Morning all..

I'm up on the scale today I thought I did well....guess not....I'm over it it's a new day....back at work...I need a vacay

Faith is what I read about....it's impossible to please God without Faith....if you don't have faith you can't fathom the thought of God being real.....
Faith....saved Moses' life...his mom put him in a basket
Faith.....had Abraham believing he would be the father of many nations and his barren wife would give him a son
Faith was all Joseph could hold on to while he did what was right and kept...

NO EXCUSES!!! I blew it on Saturday - started the day well, we had an eight hour round trip to see some guy in Nottingham that had a truck for sale (my partner has fallen in lurve with it and decided he just HAD to go look after seeing it on ebay last week!!! ) Anyways, we got to this mans house - we had left at 4 in the morning, I had eaten a pork chop along the way, I wasnt particulary hungry, but bored stiff, watching these two men drool over this bloomin truck, im sitting in the car with my son, who is happily watching a DVD on his laptop and munching on a sausage roll and all...
