Weights Away

Starting a walking plan tomorrow with Jezzie. 18 weeks, weigh in every 3 weeks, measurements every 6 weeks. We have individual walking goals and mine are:

my first six weeks - walk 20 minutes 3 times each week,
my second six weeks - walk 30 minutes 3 times each week, and
my 3rd six weeks - walk 30 minutes 4 times each week.


Hopefully it will be such a habit by then, that I will continue and gradually increase the number of times and the intensity of my walks.

My weigh-ins are mostly on Saturday mornings, so I am going to begin my...

I feel better today. Im getting excited because my brother is going to help me get a treadmill. I dont always feel like going out to walk and pretty soon it will get so hot here in the desert that its hard to walk. So hopefully by next weekend I will have it. Im trying not to weigh myself until the end of the first week in April because I am sick of being a slave to the scale. This WOL and WOE have become so easy for me. I really feel that I am a new person inside. Kids come home on Tuesday so I am getting excited. I miss my brats.

Wobble!

I went very wobbly last night. Probably time of the month, but I really wanted some sweets! I nearly caved and made porridge, with sweetner in. But I stayed strong. I may have gone a bit over my carbs for the day, because I had some walnuts and then some sunflower seeds. But at least that's good stuff, not sweets. Blackcurrent tea helped too.

Must be alert to attempts to sabotage myself, as I come up to the last full week before April 1 weigh in. I know I've shrunk this month, clothes fit better. But I can't let the sugar demon inside me try to sabotage my efforts by making the...
