Day 67 Fri 21Mar08

Posted 03-21-2008 at 07:29 PM by abvidrine
Did great today.
Forgot to weigh in this am, I'll do it tomorrow.

Chloe was the perfect child today

I was so proud of myself. I didn't eat the fried shrimp poboy or the shrimp etouffee. I had tuna on salad and the baked tilapia.

I have had 3 days of exercise so far this week. I did not exercise last night. Yesterday was tough for me and I felt nauseous all day.

Today is better!

It's satisfying to eat higher carb items for the day and then comfortable to slip back into low carb eating again.

I don't find cycling hard to do and if I lose any weight while doing it these few weeks, I will make it a permanent part of my woe. I like the...

YOU: Walking for Weight Loss Experiment

Posted 03-21-2008 at 02:00 AM by jezzie

Today I begin a little eighteen week walking experiment.

Newest low carb theory is that exercise does not produce weight loss because it just makes you eat more.
(Actually it isn't so new. Kimmer didn't believe in exercise for weight loss either.)

I'm not an 'expert du jour'.

My personal observations and experiences lead me to respectfully disagree with Mr. Taubes and Ms. Kimmer.

Time will tell.

In my first six week segment I will walk thirty minutes every day and eat 'as usual'.
'As usual' is about 1950...
