Made good choices today

My sister had her 2ND baby shower today, and I made sure I wasn't that hungry when I arrived. I only picked the LC options to eat and I passed on the desserts. I'm glad to know that if I am prepared I can stay on track even through parties and holidays. I'm going to weigh in again in a few days and see if I've lost any more!

My choices at the party were:

a slice of ham
broccoli and cheese salad
green salad
a small bite of cheese/mushroom quiche
sugar free peach tea

Well, I've had a few bad days but I'm starting again tomorrow. I haven't eaten alot but what I've eaten are all high carb foods. But I'm starting again tomorrow. I will weigh in the a.m. I'm takng it one day at a time.

I walked outdoors for 50 minutes this morning. It was cold and sunny and it felt great to be out and moving.

I am seriously going to aim for 5 days of exercise this week: 30 minutes brisk walking followed by 10 minutes of yoga. That's the minimum...if I do more, great, but I gotta start somewhere!

In order to kick-start my metabolism and really lose this weight, I KNOW I need to exercise. the weird thing is, I LIKE exercise once I'm going! It's getting started and in the HABIT of doing it that's hard for me.

Woke up feeling bloated and puffy. TOM coming soon Got to take my 11 year old daughter shoe shopping today Take will take at least 4 hours and a stop at every store in the mall. LOL. I have a busy week ahead so time to run.

I've joined Camp Charlie! Going to work on a LC challenge. Here was this morning's weighin:

236 lbs (-19). Started 3 weeks ago.

One more pound and I can change to Avatar to a 20 lb loss member!!!

Will visit from time to time. I enjoy reading your posts ladies. You provide inspiration in both your successes and struggles. Good luck on achieving your goals and becoming more healthy in the process.
