Weigh-In was a Bummer!

Tomorrow I start carb cycling and because I won't be weighing myself for two weeks, I stepped on the scale today to find that I'm up 5 lbs. Bummer!

Between upping the exercise to 6 days a week, my muscles being sore and retaining water, TOM about to make a visit, the increase in certain food, and the increase in the number of meals I eat each day, I'm not surprised...just disappointed.

I know Coconut oil, flaxmeal and cottage cheese stall a lot of people, but I've recently increased all three of these items in the name of good health.

I have 1...

Carb Cycling? Yes? No? *shrug* My Attempt!

My weight loss has slowed significantly over the past few weeks for a number of reasons. I've been moving up the carb ladder and trying new foods, I've upped my calories beause I've started to work out more, and I've added a lot of coconut oil, flaxmeal, fiber, the CLA/GLA combo and other supplements. *whew* Due to these changes, I've recently made the decision to start carb cycling.

I'm at the last rung of the carb ladder, I've added an hour of aerobics 6 days a week along with walking a mile a day, and I will be adding weight lifting into the mix. After reading an interesting...

Day 59 Thr 13Mar08

Posted 03-13-2008 at 09:52 AM by abvidrine
home scale is 152.5!

Weights today.
I'm starting to lose interest in weights. What keeps me going is that I leave work at 3:30 to go to the gym. If I don't go to the gym, I can't leave work early......whatever motivates you, huh!

I need to log what size I am. I'll go to the store to see if I am a 12 or 10. I haven't been logging what weight traces to what size.

Rise-N-Shine with Daily Devotion for Dieters

Posted 03-13-2008 at 08:12 AM by Figure26
How appropriate... I haven't used my Daily Devotion For Dieters in a couple of days, and when I opened it up this morning the scripture for this morning is Proverbs 1:33 -
"But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil."
Amen, Amen, and Amen!

The words to reflect on this verse read:
Jesus faced many terrible experiences in His lifetime. The Bible tells of many incidents where crowds of people sought to kill our Lord. Whenever the pressures got too great, Jesus withdrew and spent time in prayer. That is an important lesson

I Hit the 180's

Posted 03-13-2008 at 07:43 AM by ceceee8935
WOW I hit the 180's today When the scale said 189 I almost fell over. This makes an even 30lbs gone forever. I feel great and people are really starting to notice. Hopefully I can quit running around and get some exercise time in this weekend. I got into a pair of size 16 pants. They were a little tight but definitely wearable.

Mini Goal: 185
Big Goal: 150
