Yay! I went out to Red Lobster for dinner last night and had a DELISH shrimp and lobster caesar salad. I did have a couple of stuffed mushrooms, but there didn't seem to be hardly any breading in the stuffing...it was mostly seafood and cheese. Then we went to the Billy Joel concert and he ROCKED! He sounds just as good as he did when he was younger AND he is an AMAZING pianist! They had a camera that would zoom in on his fingers and my mouth would just drop open! I had so much fun and it was guilt free!

Day 19 - OWL

Today's Weight - 237 lbs (-18 lbs)

Well, I knew it was going to happen. After being sick, I was a little dehydrated. The scale read 237 lbs this morning. I know I am going to be up a pound or two tomorrow. I did good on making up the calories. Yesterday, I only consumed 500 calories. Today, it was more like 1600.

Have not exercised much this week. Tomorrow, it is supposed to be in the mid 60s for a high. Great weather to get outside and burn some calories. My official weekly weigh in is Sunday. I set a goal to reach 237 and I should come very close. Based on this...

I'm tired of my behaviour

I've been good all week following PP but for I'm not eating much *more* but I'm trying.
The scale is bouncing between 159-161.This afternoon it said 164 but I slipped yesterday and had a few baileys coffee,skipped supper and had oatmeal later...sigh....
I have 2.5 months to lose a goal of(and I'm being conservative here)15lbs.Often it takes me that long to lose 5lbs(which I promptly put back on again).
We're going on a camping holiday.I'd like to wear shorts.
Why am I not motivated to exercise?
I took the kids skating the other day but I need a regimented plan...

Hello!

Well, today's food was....

B: 3 fried eggs, steamed cauli w/ butter, tea w/ cream

L: small bowl of meat & veggie chili (no beans!),
raw celery & dip

D: more chili, raw veggies and dip, tea w/ cream

The chili is great, if I do say so myself!

ilovemylocks' lo carb chili:

Saute:

Ground beef and/or turkey, onion, garlic, lots of chopped celery and green pepper in olive oil.

Add liberal amounts of hot sauce, red chili...

The weekend is about upon us... and today I got up to the scales and found another 2 pounds lost.... so 16 pounds gone for good! I am still determined and already feeling better with just that much off... but a long way to go yet... but I will get there! I would be happy if I can drop 10 pounds a month... which should be safe and healthy... of course my age is against me everyone seems to say... but still going to prove them wrong! I need to remember to up my water.... that is an easy one to slack off on for me for some reason. I know this journey takes proper eating of low carbs, proper...
