Update - Monday

Posted 02-18-2008 at 09:48 PM by bav
Hello!

At 211 this morning, not much of a change from last week. Oh well!

Went to the gym last night, 35 minutes on elliptical, 25 on the bike and 30 on treadmill.

Today was a good day, for breakfast I made 'sweet eggs' with 32 ounces of water. Snack was coffee and 4 ounces of cucumber slices. For lunch I had 2 cups of spring mix salad with tuna and horseradish. Snack was more tuna, tea and 32 ounces of water. Dinner was shrimp with zucchini and 32 more ounces of water. Tasty!

Day 8

Posted 02-18-2008 at 06:32 PM by huff576
Day 8 - Wow! Haven't been this true to the LC plan in a very long time.

This morning the scale was up a pound or two (249) despite a conservative amount of food and exercise the day before. Not too worried though. It is water weight.

My energy was VERY high today. I feel focus and drive that has been lacking with my energy over the last few months. I attribute this change not only to a low carb diet, but an overall improvement in my nutrition habits. I have been taking fiber, multivitamins, and drinking tomato juice.

My goal is a lifestyle change...

Day 35 Mon 18Feb08

Gov't holiday today, so I'm taking vacation since day care is closed.
Having leftover pork loin and eggs this morning.

Home scale said 163. Will do cardio and strength today. I'll have to just do a warm up for strength then do the cardio. Can't do it the other way around.

No back pains this morning.

Did 45 min inclined treadmill and 40 min elliptical. So I did not go to gym for strength. I'll keep strength on Tue/Thr.

I'm hoping to weigh in at 161.8 or less tomorrow morning. That would give me 2 lbs loss from last week.

YOU: In the Historic, Scenic Hudson Valley

My community was named for the cascade in Wappingers Creek.

According to local legend, New York City merchants Francis Rombout and Gulian Verplanck bought land from the Wappinger Indians.

Rombout bargained for "all the land he could see", then climbed to the top of Mount Beacon.

His land grant included what is now the city of Beacon and the towns of Wappinger, Fishkill and East Fishkill.

There are about 30,000 people in my town. Approximately 8,000 of the 30,000 reside in the Village.
(The houses are closer together...
