OWL Rules?

Hello,

Could some help clarify the OWL rules as per the book, please?

An extra 5g carbs per week until you work out your CCLL
Add new foods in order of Carb Ladder list (i.e veg - spinach, dairy - mozzarella)
Add one food group at a time
Eat a food group no more than 3 times per week

So does this mean I should add like this for example -
Mon - spinach
Tue - mozzarella
Wd - macadamias

Go through the list as written but mix it up?
I'm so confused

You pretty much got it, except you increase your carb intake by 5g DAILY, not Weekly. You also don't necessarily have to add them in order either. Everybody reacts different. At the end of the week if you still lost, then you can go up another 5g until you stop losing, then you can go back down 5g and continue to loose at that rate.

But remember, you can do induction until your closer to your goal, you also don't HAVE to continue to move up 5g a week. You can move it up and stay at 25, or 30, or 35 and if you find your happy with the weight loss that gives you, you can stay there. I personally don't go looking for my CCLL until I'm withing around 15lbs of my goal. I have a bad track record of doing induction for 12 weeks or so, then getting off completely, not a great thing to do!
