Newbie

I live in a house full of junk food. I have been on LCL since march 1st. It is so hard. My husbands philosophy is eat what you want and die happy. He is skinny never critiques my weight but dying inside as this is the biggest I've ever been. I also was recently diagnosed with RA so I have to take this weight off. I decided to join a support group and hopefully make a few friends along the way.

Welcome, it looks as if you have lost 12 pounds already and that is an excellent start. The people here are very helpful and will lend lots of support if needed. Just post often and don't be afraid to ask questions or just share or vent...we are all in this together.

Thank you so much. Down another 1/2 lb. I will stay on induction until I'm under 200 lbs then add 5 carbs. I don't care how long or what sacrifice I have to make. Since I gained this I have lost confidence and it reflects in so many areas of my life. I want Melanie back. Miss me. So I keep a butter box on my counter to remind me that 4 sticks of butter = 1 lb of fat. So far I've melted 50 sticks of butter. I just tell myself I'm losing weight and not hungry. Wow you are 4 lbs from goal. Awesome!

I understand your visual...I have lost over 6 ten pound bags of potatoes haha...and I agree with the statement about getting Melanie back...I was a miserable B****h when I was heavier because I was disappointed with myself...not a good way to start the day not being able to zip my pants or having to stretch out my shirt to hide bulges....you will get there and so will I.

Keep us posted and keep coming back with any question, vents, or victoriies:shake:

Ok so don't think I am crazy but b4 I started this I tried on all my pants I took all the ones that didn't fit and seep rated them . I will consider my 1st milestone to either be able to wear those pants or have Somone ask me if I'm losing weight.
