Flax and Weight Gain?

I'm a little worried about working flax into my diet, because although the net carbs are very low, there are still a LOT of carbs in it. Has anyone experienced weight gain or a weight stall with flax?

I din't eat much of it...maybe a tbs in a muffin a few times a week...never had a problem with it stalling me in that amount.

Flax meal shouldn't have carbs in it. It's all fiber.

Flax only has fiber in it the rest is fat. Flax is also good because it contains omega 3s. I use flaxmeal instead of bread crumbs for breading and it turns out great. Its also a great way to bump up the fat in the meat. Also you can use it in place of flour for some simple baking products.

I did eat a flaxseed porridge using 1/4 cup, mixed with an egg, water and spenda. I had it a couple days a week and did notice that it did cause me to stall. It was a great alternative to breakfast for me, but perhaps only have it once a week. It's been sitting in my refrig just waiting for me to have it.

I use flax daily.
I sprinkle about a tablespoon each on my breakfast and lunch.
I actually did it for reasons of regularity, for which it is helpful,
but I've grown to enjoy the taste and texture. It's a nutty sort of
taste and it adds a little rough texture to the meal...
I love it, and do not notice any weight issues with it at all.
