Induction grumpies

I have the induction grumpies. After a week long sugar and carb frst, I m back on plan and am going through the induction grumpies. i;ve pre- apologized to the family and taken up redidence on the couch, As i know it will only last a day I am reveling in it. I plan to spend the entire day like this...how bad is that?

Oh Lavajane, you made me laugh! I'm sorry. I really think that you had a wonderful idea when you pre-apologized to your family. I have done similar!! If you feel like crap, staying on the couch sounds like a great idea to me.

Do you have some horrible task that you have been putting off? Like cleaning out that junk drawer in the Kitchen? sorting your undies and throwing out the grey holey ones. You can do that Job alone and have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

I have a box in my closet and when some pants/sweaters get too big, in they go. That gives me a wonderul feeling. My favorite sweatshirts I am saving to wear in the winter, the others in good shape are going to the resale shop (where I got most of them in the first place), and then there is the rag/garbage bag.

I still get the grumpies every so often, just find your own way to deal with it. Sometimes praying will get my mind off myself and my problems. Sometimes I just go to bed early.

stay the course, and be slimmer.

lol- Chris- you are way to productive!

Nope.. I work 9-10 hour days and only get 2 weekends off a month so sitting on my hiney on the couch was the perfect course of action for me. I felt like I was on strike!

Today is much better, the grumpies are disappearing. !

Hope the grumpies have gone completely by now! Remember that it's all for a good cause and it does go away

Today was day 1 for me.... definitely feeling the grumpies. I also decided to quit and start again tomorrow, so i could go on a binge of ice cream and junk, since I wouldn't technically be losing any ground. BUT- I didn't do it. I realized I would feel the same way tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day....

So I made deviled eggs and took more Midol. I hope I feel better tomorrow!

you will-- stay strong! It will be hard for a couple of days but it's really true that after 4-5 days the cravings leave you. Thats what I love the most about LC. It makes me feel "normal" -foodwise that is! Sweets are my downfall- actually i'd go stronger than that and call them an addiction- so to be able to resist them is GREAT!

I guess I'm just amazed that I am not hungry at all today. I decided to eat anyway, but really didn't feel like it. I hope this lasts!

There's no doubt - carbs make me happy! It's tough working through the grumpies
