Help Can't find the food list

Is there a link for what foods are acceptable on Atkins?

I don't know. I was looking for the same thing. I had a friend that wanted the information. I don't even know where my book is. I just sorta remember what I can and can't eat. lol. It also depends on what stage of the diet you are on and what version of the diet you are on. I make it pretty simple for myself. I eat meat with a side of veggies, or a salad. I'll have eggs and bacon or sausage for breakfast. Don't eat veggies that are high in carbs= potatoes, corn, beets, peas, etc. Eat more salad type veggies like lettuce, cucumber, celery, tomatoes, etc. Broccoli and cauliflower are both good for pretty much all phases. I also like zucchini and asparagus. Eat hard cheeses in the first phase. Add softer cheeses in the later phases. Add avocado after the first phase.

No grains of any sort. No sugars, corn syrups, etc. A little artificial sweetener is allowed, but stalls some people. No milk. Cheese is allowed and 1TB of heavy cream per day.

Try to stay away from the Atkins bars unless it's an emergency and that's what you are eating instead of indulging in chocolate cake. That pretty much sums it up for me. This is more of a general summing up of the idea more than an actual list. Hopefully it will give you an idea of what is and isn't allowed.

Don't eat anything that is white except cauliflower. Don't eat grain of any kind , carby vegetables like peas or corn, and watch out for sugar alcohols.

Depending on where you are in OWL, and what version of the diet, YMMV but it is a good rule of thumb if you don't have the book handy.

You can go to the Atkins site. They have it broken down by phases and on the left hand side there's a link for what you can eat in each phase.
