Does cardio exercise increase ketosis??
I haven't been able to get in much exercise this week and I've noticed that I'm only showing trace ketones. Last week, I was doing an hour of cardio every other day and my ketone level was quite dark. Does exercise have anything to do with this or is it most likely that I've eaten some hidden carbs that I wasn't aware of??

anything that causes us to exceed our carb and body made glucose stores will cause an increase in ketone production by the liver and an increase in "excess ketones"

I'm starting to lose faith in my "ketostix". It seems like I'm showing ketosis when I really shouldn't be and showing NOTHING when I've followed plan to the letter.
I don't think I'm going to waste any more money buying them. |

I'm not cheking through "ketostix" and i'm doing fine. I'm just following the amount of carbs and cheeses, so far i've lost 18lbs in 3weeks!
