My new favorite thread. You guys are awesome! Thanksgiving is going to be a whole new ball game this year. My family is never going to know what hit them at the dessert table this year.

That is so true, sweet irony. Then again, why should the sides be any different? There are so many options for the entire meal--including an amazing stuffing recipe, sugar-free cranberry sauce, cauliflower puree--you name it! You might not even make it to dessert.

I'm usually in charge of bringing a couple desserts, rolls and some kind of vegetable. Haven't decided on desserts quite yet (very likely at least one thing from your site if not a couple of them) but I am determined to master Oopsie rolls before then. (how do they do as mini muffins?)

No way most of my family would give up actual mashed potatoes for mashed cauli, but I'll bring some for myself as well as a few other substitutions just for me.

Thank you. And I'm not sure how you can possibly top the Caramel Turtle Cheesecake, but I'm willing to wait and see.

Agreed! For this thread alone. I can't believe anyone would think this WOE has to be boring after all the great pictures everyone has posted here.

Glazed, crispy skinned duck with mint and citrus salad

My snacky lunch. I like small, fat/protein portions. I couldn't make it through everything before I got full.

Cleo - Yum. I love snacky plates with lots of goodness.
I would need a little mustard next to my bacon though.

Cerise - Your bf did a good job on the duck. Looks yummy. I love citrus as well. I would've loved the dish, I am sure.

Cleo,
How do you keep the veggies from turning to mush in the crockpot?

Looks so good. EVERYTHING LOOKS SO GOOD!

So long as you don't go over 2 hours on the broccoli and cauli, you're golden! And leave the chunks a bit bigger.

Low carb, gluten free, sugar free cheesecake with fresh berries (made into preserves). I'll try to get better pictures later.
