Anyone getting cold hands/feet?
I've always been pretty warm, and my hands hotter than most folks. I've been on Atkins a couple months now and I've noticed that sometimes my hands and/or feet get COLD when other folks are comfortable.
Anyone else have this happen or know the cause? Is there a simple fix? TIA |

I've noticed that too with my hands. So when the weather turns cold, I'll be known as the gloved one.

This happens to me a lot when low-carbing...fingers and toes freezing when everyone else is warm. I have always wondered if it has anything to do with the fact that I drink WAY more water on this WOE than not?
Interesting... |

I am always cold in comparison to others. It was 86 degrees outside today, I was very comfortable with a long sleeve and a jacket...not a drop of sweat. It works for me in the summer (except in super air conditioned buildings), but the winter it is brutal.

Yeah, normally I'm the one with the hot hands when everyone else is chilly. I would have to be making snowballs to get cold hands, but now I find that sometimes they're icy in what would normally be a very comfortable temp for me.
I thought I read something in another forum at one point about coconut oil helping? Something about it being thermogenic, thus raising body temp and boosting metabolism. Anyone have any experience with this? If that's true, then it should also help burn the fat, correct? TIA |

No iron or thyroid issues. Added extra virgin coconut oil to my diet a few days ago. So far, no cold hands to report. Looks like it may have done the trick.
