Oh no! Ate a cookie....

in my dream this afternoon, that is! Half way through my first day on Induction, I took a nap. I haven't been sleeping well due to a severe sunburn, so I was wiped out.

That's when I had my very first Atkins-induced nightmare. In my dream, I grabbed a cookie and munched it down before I remembered I'm eating low carb. I was so upset! lol

I remember having these types of dreams a couple of years ago when I was on Atkins. I'm just surprised I have already had one and I'm not even done with Day 1!

Ah...to be human. If in the future you happen to break down and have that cookie, just remember it isn't the end of the world. Just make things right with the next meal and continue on.

Hmm, I haven't had a good carb-mare for ages now. The best ones are when it's not a bad dream, you just dream about eating the food and enjoy it and wake up having had the eating experience and no consequences!

Aren't those dreams weird?!!

Glad it was just a dream - I've done that same thing IRL sometimes - just a bite of something I was making for my daughters, etc., before remembering, "Uh, duh, not supposed to have that!!"
