Cucumbers???

Has anyone ever had any issues with cucumbers stalling their progress? I just did a nutritional value search and one large cuke has 6 carbs and 2g of fiber...BUT the thing that surprised me was that it had 3.9g of SUGAR??

I've not noticed a problem with them. We eat them occaisionally as "crackers" with a crm chese/chive mix or as dipping veggie sticks. My hubby's favorite dish is cukes tomatoes and fresh mozzarella in vinaigrette.

So far so good, but I doubt we would eat more than 1/4 or so of a large cuke each.

I'm not sure where you got those nutritional values; they seem pretty high so you might want to cross-check the data. However I know for a fact that cucumbers have never ever caused my jelly to roll. Nope. Jelly rolls did that.

actually just about all carb foods have sugar in them as carbs are broken down into fiber simple sugars and complex ( that would be starchy) carbs. the total is just the amount of simple sugar grams + fiber grams + complex grams so don't fear sugar in a nutrtion label. fear it in the ingredients list label.

Cucumbers don't stall me. I have never eaten a whole one in one day, though. About a 3-4 inch piece cut up. Brussel sprouts have a high Sugar content and I eat those ALOT. I do not stall with naturally occuring Veggie sugars. BUT hand me an atkins bar and ::Stalled::..Weird, eh?
