Cheetos???

Has anybody come across a product that resembles puffy cheetos? I know years ago they had they had the cheetos edge low carb but that's gone now, unless they're still available somewhere and I don't know about it.

If not a product like cheetos, then maybe a low carb recipe for a cheetos type snack?

I pack cheetos in my kids' lunches most days and sniff the bag and once I licked my fingers but I'm hoping there's something....

Thanks

I know most people will kill me for saying/doing this but I eat the baked crunchy Cheetos about twice a week with my oopsie sandwhiches. I absolutely LOVE the flavor they have... I think they taste like Cheetos AND a little like cheddary buttery popcorn so I feel like it is getting 2 delicious treats in one. I dont eat a full serving and like I said it is only once or twice a week as a treat with my meal. I bought a bag in February and it is still 3/4 full .

I would also be interested in something with fewer carbs but a similar Cheeto flavor. I really love the crunchy ones in addition to the larger, puffy ones you are looking for.

For my cracker and cheetos fix i use lindasue's cheese puffs. Take the "deluxe american cheese" its in the blue foil package. Do not use regular kraft cheese its doesnt work as well. tear it up into about 6 to 8 pieces and place on parchment paper then place in microwave do not use a plate. nuke it on high for about 56 seconds and let cool for a minute or so. You will have a wonderful low carb snack that is great with chili, egg salad wraps and in place of popcorn!!

I have been eating Spelt Cakes by SUZIE'S. They are like rice cake but lightly salted. 5 carbs a cake..1 g fiber..4 net carbs...25 calories. You can put whatever spice you want or eat like bread with tuna or whatever you put on a sandwich. I sometimes butter them and eat them like popcorn. Glenny's soy crisps are also good. They are like mini rice cakes about the size of a cracker and really crispy. there are 9 carbs in half a bag with 1.5 g fiber...They seem to do the trick for me!

Melle's Cheatos, a flaky cheesy meringue treat!

Folks, I think Melle has gifted us with a match for the carby Cheetos some of us yearn for. Check it out at Melle's Cheatos made with eggwhites, cream of tartar, grated cheese.
