Back on the LOW CARB

About 3 years ago my wife and I were doing the low carb lifestyle and then one bowl of ice cream lead to another and three years later we (no honey not you)ahem I was fat. We have been going strong for over a month with just a day in san francisco that we had a bit of a cheat....ok alot but once a month is our goal of a break day not a splurge or binge day.

i'm down a few pounds and the wifey is as well and all is well.

Thanks for all the amazing recipes ya'll

Jeff

welcome back. Hope when you see somebody posting about deserving a bowl of ice cream you will share your story about what that bowl turned into.

I think that a heat day is the worst Idea ever. Every time I cheat, that 1 meal turns up being like a week or some times even longer. I lost a bet at work and that one day has turned into a week as of today. But today is a new day and I think it's time to put an end to the excuses and make this fat loss a life style (WOL) and stop treating the low carb as a diet. I never thought of it that way and I have all you wonderful people to thank for it. Thinking of it as a way of life will help me stay on the path to a lean body.

I don't always practice what I preach, but my signature below does ring true - If I have time to plan a cheat, then I have time to plan how NOT to cheat!!!

I won't ever plan a cheat - just try to stop as soon as I've started... I'm such a weakling with this - still. But I'm trying hard, and I've kept off a lot of weight for a good amount of time now. Just need to start losing again. Good Luck!
