So I had my first bad day :(

Don't know why...the fast food was calling me. And I gave in. I had Del Taco for lunch (nachos and a quesadilla and a soda). I've been completely cheat free for like, twenty two days and for some reason today I just wanted it. I tried to think if there were emotional reasons I wanted it, but things have been going good and I've been so happy on this WOE so far. I'm bummed I gave in, but I know I can get back on the wagon tomorrow (hopefully...it's Valentine's Day and who knows what that will bring!). I suppose it's really not worth beating myself up over.

Can't unring the bell - just start again, no "hopefully" about it. You can do this!

I definately would not beat myself up...But a little guilt, it's ok. You know, I find that I fall (head first) off the wagon when my Food choices become BORING. If I haven't had time to cook some yummies...or no $$ for grocery shopping....Or I just feel all "egged" out.

C'mon back up on the wagon...theres a seat right beside me, We're in this together!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!

It sure isn't. You're doing really well and looking at the big picture this moment won't have any lasting effect on your progress.

The best way to get back on track is to go back to good old induction.

AAAAGGGHHH!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? I CANNOT SEEM TO GET BACK ON TRACK SINCE MY SLIP UP LAST WEEK!! I'LL GET BACK ON PLAN FOR A MEAL, THEN I'LL BIFF UP THE NEXT. WHY DOES JUNK FOOD HAVE SUCH A HOLD OVER ME? WWWWAAAAHHHHHHH

I need the words, Ladies and Gents...the words to bring me back to my focus and my goal. People are so sweet and supportive and I keep saying I'm gonna get back on track and I haven't yet. Just hold me and tell me it's all gonna be okay!!!!!!!!!

write yourself a letter about why you deserve to be the healthier smaller you. make copies and keep them posted where you will see them in your house and might have food. reread your letter before you eat anything. also keep paper and pen handy and should you decide I'm having fast food high carb right now make yourself write a letter to you about why you deserve that high carb food more then you deserve the healtheir smaller you. I don't know anybody who has ever finished the second letter.

When the cost to you of the cheat is more then the benefit you derive from the cheat you will stop. So count the cost each and every time. the whole cost from the emotional stress of being overweight and not in control to the actual physical damage that blood sugar spike does to you. When you know it is morew then just having to restart your eating plan the yummy taste of those foods doesn't seem so good any more.

happy low carbing.

Thanks for your advice. I've been on track so far today. I was tired of the guilt of sabotaging myself hanging over my head this last week. I really do want to achieve my goals and be a happier, healthier me!
