Colette Heimowitz, M.S, VP for nutrition Communication & Education with Atkins Nutritionals, Inc will be calling me the end of this week. She used to go on television and radio interviews with Dr Atkins. Every now and then I contact her to ask some questions to help the people here on LCF... We are going to discuss how to repair a damaged metabolism. If you have ever gone so low in calories or carbs you may find that you can't seem to add any back into your diet without gaining weight back. I wanted to let you all know about my upcoming interview because I felt that since I do this for you all... maybe you have other questions you would like her to answer.

Please post (or PM me) any questions you have between today and Thursday morning for my phone interview with her. She is such a gracious person to give of her time when I know she is so busy... I want to have my questions ready so I don't waste any of my time with her.

cool I've read some of her previous interviews explaining Atkins.

please ask her if she agrees with the ANA's ( Atkins Nutritonal Approach) stance on allowing low carb frankenfood products to be a part of the induction plan or does she stand by Dr Atkins whole natural foods as the way to change our eating for life.

Called a health food store today to ask if they had any Atkins products; they said "no, and we've heard they are going out of business. Is this true? Also would love to find the muffin mix that I use to buy but, alas, can't find it anywhere.
