Back with an attitude!!

Hello everyone....I have a question about salads..It says Dark leafy salads...I've been using regular lettuce...Is that a problem? Thanks

I eat regular lettuce sometimes and have never had a problem. The dark leafy kind probably has more nutrients, but the regular kind is fine too.

Dark Leafy is better for your nutrient-wise, however, the good ole' standby iceburg, is fine too. I personally find that spinach leaves and romaine fills me up faster though!

Regular iceberg lettuce won't HURT, but you can do better for yourself with some romaine, leaf lettuce, mesclun (baby greens) or even raw spinach leaves. Iceberg lettuce isn't much more than a little water and a little fiber. Not much nutrients in there. Get some bang for your buck! :-)
