induction started on may 19/05...anyone else?

hi all!
i am back to LCF for support and fun after losing 60 lbs and gaining back 30 of them during a bad, bad year...the last 10 were practically gained in the last two weeks, believe it or not (stupid medication!) so i have resolved to get back on track before it is too late! i loved how i felt at 180 and i desparately want to be 150 lbs again. i have a lot of summer clothes that wont be used if i dont jumpstart this week!

i am doing my darndest to have a clean induction. yesterday was easy...today was a day of horrible headaches. on top of this i seem to have caught some bug (horrible sore throat), which in a way stops me from eating because it hurts too much.
the headache went away somewhat just now when i had my legal daily serving of steamed vegetables, perhaps because i am not eating a lot i am way too carb depleted than i should be.

i will stop running off at the mouth now...just want to find some fellow "inductees"...
cheers!

Hello I'm new here.

I started what I call a 'mini-induction' on the 16th. I basically just took Atkin's for a test run for a couple of days to see what it was like. After the headaches (oy vey!) went away, I felt pretty good. Not even any cravings and more energy than usual. So now that I know what to pretty much expect, I plan to start the real induction phase on the 23rd.

Best of luck to you! You can do it.

hey there!
welcome to the board and welcome to induction! that is great that after your 'test drive' you have made the decision to jump whole hog into induction. if you have already survived the headaches then the rest of induction should be a breeze. i am hoping that this is my last attempt at induction (had a few mis-starts in the last two months or so). i am of the mindset that you must psychologically be ready to start and commit or else you will easily fall off the wagon.
best of luck to you when you start on monday...in the meanwhile, keep posting!
cheers!

Congrats on deciding to do Induction!!!!! You can and will succeed! I started Induction again on the 16th (Monday)! I found this board on the 15th and it motivated me so much I had to get back on the wagon!! I feel so much better! I gained back up to 185 and the weight is falling off of me this time! I know I will reach my goal. Good luck you all! I'm gonna go for a walk/jog around the lake!
