starting Atkins 5-11-05

Hi,
I am starting Induction tomorrow! I am a bit nervous I want to lose the weight and get healthy! Any tips? Thanks!

Hold on tight, the first four-five days are a roller coaster. STICK to it, eat natural foods and after a while your hunger will deplete. Good luck!!!

Today was day one for me. I had 2 strips of bacon and 2 eggs for breakfast. I had absolutely no cravings at all. At lunch time, I had to make myself eat because I still felt full from breakfast. Good luck on your first day tomorrow

Three pounds so far and feeling great. The day before I started I was pretty loaded on nasty sugars so it took longer to get them out of my system. Probably 4 days before my appetite started to dwindle. Those days were pretty tough...but now I'm feeling great and I bought ketosticks to make sure I'm doing it right.

I find it helpful to plan out my food , whenever i don't I end up eating wrong.

This is key for me. If I already know what I am going to eat, then I don't think about other stuff.

The first 2 weeks are the hard part after that your there. Hang in there and check in alot.
