Seriously need some good advice

This is my second induction first one was two years ago and lost arround 75 pounds going from 234 to 158, but the past three months I had gained over 20 pounds back. This time arorund I have been on induction for one month. The first two weeks I wasn't as serious about keeping track of carbs but managed to stay far away from sugar.I did check keto sticks and they read small amount of ketones. Well this past two weeks actually three weeeks I have been watching every carb I consume and do not allow myself to go over 10 carbs. Most of the time I have been staying arround six-eight carbs and only 500-900 caloriesa day & once a week I would allow for 20-25 carbs, yet I am not losing as near as much as I was the first time I went on induction, which was 4 pounds a week. I plan on staying on induction for the 75 days but this is frustrating!!! Any advice??? btw weight is now 179 and I am trying to get down to 135, I am 5'4.....Thank in advance to those who can help. btw trying to get down to 135 by end of July.

Hi..

This is quite common..the second time around..the body is now used to lowcarbing..
and it's not giving up that fat without a struggle..

Are you losing at all?????????? 4 pounds a week is too much really..and you were
losing muscle at the same time..So probably now you are working with less muscle
and your metabolism has slowed down..

You might have to up your calories to a solid 1000 and have 6 mini-meals a day..
And......................you might be eating too much protein, which can stall you..
Aim for around 65 grams of protein, and lots of good healthy veggies..and some
fat..and see how that goes. Just my opinion...

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes I have lost a little I was 189 about three weeks ago I am now 179 so I have lost 10 pounds but I was hoping for more like15 to 20 my first month on induction. Also I think you may be right about the protein I have been eating over 100 grams a day. Somehow I think I was suppossed to be having more protein to kick in the weight loss. Do you have any advice about how much fat a day compared to proteins I should be eating?

Hi, some people may tell say you're not eating enough. I would recommend upping your carbs to around 20--mostly in veggies and see what happens. If you post in the main lobby, you may get more answers as well. Also, since you're on induction, join us on the re-induction challenge--we're all trying to get things going again--after doing multiple inductions
