Cholestrol ~ Good or Bad???

I had my annual physical back in February (after the New Year drinks & my birthday cake). At the time I was maintaining while eating a lot of low carb icecream and treats. Here were my results:
Cholest: 228
HDL:75
LDL:130
Triglic:113
I've since decided to clean things up a bit and go back in around July 1st for another test. I'm on Induction now. My question is this... is it okay for your cholest. to be a little high if your good cholest (HDL) is really good (over 40)
and your Triglicerides really good (below 150). I'm new at this stuff and I'm hoping someone can help interpret or adivse me. Thank you so much for your thoughts!!!
Working hard....
