Hi maysea The sticks are not what it's about. I've never bothered with them. If you are losing weight or inches over a period of time (and don't have cravings) then you are doing it right.I tried the low carb chocolate and it is dreadful gives me a really bad tummy
If you want something sweet and are not following induction have strawberries and cream. Or mix basic cocoa powder into marscapone for that chocolate taste. I use davinci sf white chocolate syrup (no sugar alcohols) with cocoa and double cream in hot water for a hot chocolate drink.
The basic food is protein with a couple of salads and low carb veggiesevery day and it works.

It's possible that the amount of sugar alcohols in that particular bar wasn't enough to knock you out of ketosis (for maltitol, counr 25%-50% as carbs). If you are on plan and losing and feeling good about that, then you have to decide for yourself what is okay for you to add.

For me when I started I would buy a brand of chocolate called Chocolove that actually was made with regular sugar, but very small amounts, especially in the darker chocolates. I would eat a couple squares a night to satisfy my sweet tooth. It gave me no problems in the long run and I felt like I wasn't deprived.

Good Luck!
