Help! I've Fallen and don't know where to begin
Hi! My name is Cheryl - and I am new to these boards. I tried doing low carb last year (actually a year ago in March) and I lost about 40 lbs. But somehow I got off track, whether i got depressed or ate the wrong things and have not been able to get back on.
I never kept a food journal or any journal, which now I really wish that I would have. Everytime I try to start this all over again I either get bored with the food I choose or I get sick of it! I need help. I have about 95 lbs. to lose. Also I am addicted to chocolate, to sweets. I love them! I always feel like I have to have something sweet. Which is how I got huge in the first place. I need help. I need support and encouragement. I need guidance. Please can someone help me!! Thank you Cheryl |

You are in the right place.
Do a clean induction - no products, no artificial sweeteners, nothing not on the induction list. Do this for 2-3 weeks and you should see a vast improvement on those sweets cravings. For help with recipes, read through this board: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/forumdisplay.php?f=9 and visit the recipe room. The mail lobby is always busy and there are lots of people who are more than willing to offer their support. |

I used to think I could NEVER give up sweets, bread, etc. I had a cup of hot cocoa every night for the last 5 years (and a huge cup of coffee in the morning). I also had unavoidable cravings and would eat a whole bag of candy at a time.
Since starting this WOE, I have had no sweets, no coffee, and no cravings. If you following strict induction -- you will learn to love it. But no frankenfoods, drink plenty of water, take your vitamins (this is a MUST), and get some exercise in ... If you see results fast, you will be inspired. Good luck!! |
