After induction stall

HELP..I have been past the 2 week induction period for 2 weeks now and havent lost any weight since about day 12 during induction. I know you are all going to say to chek my measurments, but i did and I am not losing inches either. I am completly stuck. Anyone else have this porblem? If so how long were you stuck for? I lost 6lbs during induction which I was happy with(wish it were more) and havent changed a thing since. Any comments or suggestions

Hi JB, yes this happens to many LCers after initial induction. Please read around you will see this is so true. Your body is readjusting, checking out what you are doing.... all I can say is please please please dont be discouraged or give up. Keep at it. Your body will let go of some more when it's ready. One thing I've learned is the body has it's own time clock. Your job is to learn how to follow the plan and stick with it. Your inches and pounds will follow. By the way, get your water up too, it's essential for metabolising your fats. Meanwhile, plan, prepare your food and check the book to ensure you are following the rules, as it were. As you begin losing again look to the book for setting your Critical Carb Levels. This will work, work the plan!

Post indution stall is common. It is your body cathing up with the loss. Make sure you stick to the induction foods and do not lose sight of your goals. Continue to exercise and if you are not yet- start. Your doing great keep it up!

Where are you at and what is your goal? For folks who don't have much to lose, a 5-10 lb loss is typical for induction and then it may go VERY slowly.

noticing the same thing slow after induction

I have experienced the same thing i was losing during induction now my body seems to be at a stall. But i guess it could be a few different issues for myself. my weight goal is to lose about 15 more pounds. i am guessing this is why i am losing so slow. also i am using atkins products daily 2-3 times so i guess this could be the issue too. I am not really considered being in the overweight catagory but i just found out recently that i have a high trigyliceride level so i am having to adjust my diet. I am considered the "apple body shape" so i am figuring this too is against me. all the weight is in my middle from which i understand is the most dangerous and the hardest to lose.
I know, i know.. exercise..

i just got out of the army this past sept. so i should know better when it comes to exercise. when i got out i was happy i didnt have to meet for those early mornings of PT anymore. Also i was healing from injuries so i had to take it easy a while to heal. but still i have a hard time being motivated to exercise. my husband and i got bikes for our anniversary and i thought i would really enjoy it, but i live in california and there are so many hills here it is like a major work out just taking the bike for a leisure stroll!

because i have little weight to lose what do i do? do i keep adding 5 grams of carbs each week even though i am not losing? or do i skip over to the lifestyle phase or what?

anyone have any good suggestions?
