Just starting out with TONS of ??'s

Hello to the Experts!
I have a few quick questions, then I will try to spread them out.

1. How long does it take for your body to switch it's metabolism from carb burning to fat burning?
2. If you break the 20 carbs a day rule once the switch has taken place does your metabolism immediate revert to carb burning?
3. Why is cheese so bad?
4. What should be my limitations during induction on diet drinks? Like the flavored carbonated waters, and Fruit 2O.

Okay, I have more but those are the big ones.

I'll try and answer your questions

1. How long does it take for your body to switch it's metabolism from carb burning to fat burning? that depends on how much glucose you have stored in the liver. It will use that up first. Normally 2-3 days
2. If you break the 20 carbs a day rule once the switch has taken place does your metabolism immediate revert to carb burning?
no. Some people can still be in Ketosis at 30-35 g of carbs.

3. Why is cheese so bad? It's a Dairy item... you want to limit dairy
4. What should be my limitations during induction on diet drinks? Like the flavored carbonated waters, and Fruit 2O. My Personal opinion- I wouldn't do more then 2-3 a day. You want to incorprate more water

Not an expert but would like to add that many things are an individual matter and you have to find out by trial and error.

For instance you can only have up to 4 oz of cheese on induction but you can add more (by the book) as you climb the carb ladder. Adding dairy is the next step after adding a serving of vegetable. If you are doing DANDR.
