ADHD meds. & Atkins???

I love this site! It has really kept me modivated to loose the freshman 15; eventhough mine is the sophmore 38 This nutrional Aproach let me shed 30lbs three years ago, but i made the huge mistake of going back to bad carbs after the weight loss. Learned my lesson on that one.
This summer i stopped taking adderall, but being on academic probation has made me realize how impossible it is for me to focus without it. I go back on it next week.
I was wondering if it is going to make weight loss dificult. Befor on atkins i was not on any adhd meds. If it is going to make my weight loss stall how should i approach it? Cut back on carbs? I have 15 carbs a day, wich is just veggies. I really want to suceed in getting healthy, but i have to take these meds so i can focus in school.
Thank you so much for hearing me out
Have a great weekend everyone

Different medications effect people in different ways, it is possible that some may slow down weight loss. But your ultimate goal is to lead a healthier lifestyle, so being on medications to control ADHD is just important to moving you towards a healthier lifestyle as is making changes in your meal planning. You should never go below 20 grams of net carbs a day, if you stay at 15 g, you may be missing out on vitamins and minerals not to mention you may not be getting enough calories and this can slow your weight loss. Why don't you post a menu?
