I doubt it. That is a lot of Lasix - in due time, perhaps he can cut back the mg's as the weight and problems lower. I have heard people have been able to get off them all together.
I am curious, does the doctor have you also drink a lot of water? What was his/her recommendation with that high amount of lasix? Good luck to you on your journey ![]() |

Ken
I am surprised to read this. Anyway, welcome to the boards. Have you surfed around the boards? Please check out the Century Club as an example. Good luck ![]() |

I don't think the lasix would slow down your weight loss. I can see why your Doctor has you on a limit of water, due to your Congestive Heart Failure. I would also think with time ( once your Congestive Heart Failure is under control) hopefully he will be able to decrease your lasix and you can increase your liquids. Try the Century Club for information. You have come to a wonderful site, there are alot of people to answer questions. Welcome again.Last edited by saljo : 01-20-2005 at 01:04 PM. |
