How much is too much protein?

At what point does your body convert protein to glucose? Sometimes I wonder because I'll have bacon and eggs for breakfast, or just a beef frank for a snack, and I wonder how much is ok to eat before it gets converted? I'm horrible with grams for measurements, so size ratio would help me on this answer. Gracias!

I read somewhere that you take your weight and divide it by 2. That number will be the number of grams that ideally you should have (on the low end). I haven't been able to get a clear answer on it in the past, so I'm going to try this! I tend to eat too much protein too.

Have you used fitday? That's the only way I could figure out the grams!

I went to the web site you mentioned and it is great....it was exactly what I was looking for for a month now. So, I assume if I put in my goal weight and stick to those guidelines for that weight I should eventually get to goal. Did any one else try this site? Thank you Lark for asking the question and Thank you Lisa Rae answering it.
