Cheese & Suppliment Questions!

I am just about to start atkins for the 2nd time and was wondering if the suppliments i am taking at the moment are okay to continue with. I am taking a Multivitamin, Vitamin E capsules and Spirilina.

Also i was wondering if Camembert, Brie and Feta cheeses are okay on the first phase.

Cheers!

The extra vitamin E capsules are probably unnecessary. The recommended daily dosage for women is 8milligrams a day. For men it is 10milligrams per day. Most people can obtain adequate amounts of vitamin E from eating a balanced diet. If not, that multivitamin you're taking should contain all that is needed. There have been recent studies which have suggested that consuming excess vitamin E can lead to problems, as it is a fat-soluble and not water-soluble vitamin. However, these studies are VERY recent, but you should probably avoid taking more than was is recommended.

As far as the cheese goes, just check the amount of carbs in the servings since induction is based mostly on carb intake.

Just trying to help out!

Cheese is suggested 3-4 oz limit per day; unless they revised that. Good luck!
