Ginseng ??

I have looked for someone else asking this question but cant find one so I'll pose it. Will taking Ginseng daily stall me? I did phase one for about four weeks and lost a considerable amount of weight. I gave up coffee [ that was a week to forget ] but have returned to my daily ginseng. Now I appear to be stalled and haven't lost any weight in a month. I am up to 30 carbs a day and thought this would still bring a weight loss but stay the same.

I'd appreciate any help on this.

The wife and I are terribly flattered by the mega response to our question. Being new here we thought we might at least get an "I don't know" but guess no one has any idea.

It is impossible to say for sure how a supplement will affect you, as different things are seen in different people. But as far as what the research shows, although preliminary data suggest that ginseng may improve glucose tolerance, no quality studies in humans have shown greater weight loss with ginseng compared with placebo.
Congrats on the success you have had so far. Stalls can be frustrating but you have to play around with your meal planning in order to get it started again. It may help if you post a menu so we can better advise you.

Stalls can happen with out any reason and or by just one food causing it. I have been doing low carb for almost 2 years now and have seen both kind of stalls. Bottom line is how do you feel if you feel good and you know your working your plan the way you should then try to ride it out. Also I have gone down one whole size with out losing a pound, figure that one out Anyway not sure about the ginsing but wouldn't think it would stall. Post a couple of menu's, maybe someone can help.

Hang in there your doing really good.
