Atkins Products Questions

I have a couple quick questions.

First, i have been eating the Keto Cocoa Crisp cereal every morning for many months and have never had a problem. Recently i tried the Atkins morning start cereals and i absolutely love them, but they make me severly bloated all day long. Why would they do this?

Also, by any chance has the Atkins company started to consider using erythritol in any of its products other than maltitol, glycerine or isomalt? I think many of us would be much more willing to buy the products if they had this instead of the other sugar alcohols. Since erythrtiol doesnt stall hardly anyone. Thanks for taking the time to answer, i really appreciate it.

Hi Matt,
People respond to different ingredients in individual ways. There is no ingredient that would be unfamiliar to your body, especially if you have enjoyed other products in the past without any effects. So I can't say why the cereal would make you feel bloated. Did anything else in your meal planning or schedule change that could have caused the bloating other than the change in cereal?
Erythritol will not be used in Atkins products, however, formula's are being improved to include a 50/50 blend of maltitol and isomalt. Keep in mind that most products use no more than 2 g of maltitol. Most of the morning start bars and advantage bars don't use any sugar alcohols. And the endulge line uses minimal, just enough to maintain quality and taste.
