Induction and sport....

HI All,

I am into week 3 of a 4 week induction, and it's going well!

I am starting a sport this week, which will feature two afternoons training per week, and six hours each Saturday.

At training on Thursday, after an hour or so, I got a little light headed - nothing severe, just a little wobbly.

What is the thinking regarding sports activity and induction, or OWL. Should I increase my carb intake immediately before playing sport? If so, what is suggested? I'm thinking a banana - although, fruit is off the list during induction!

Cheers,

Jack

Jack, while you're waiting for the AN to reply, you might want to have a look at this thread: carbs after a workout?

Bananas?????EEEK!

Personally, I run a lot and I find more protein an hour or so before I run is what helps me..I would never consider going high carb...I want to burn the fat, not what I've just eaten.
