Yes, you can improve cholesterol levels when you use Atkins as a lifestyle.

I suggest you go to www.atkins.com. You can go to the section, science behind Atkins and go to the folders titled "research supporting Atkins", heart disease and cholesterol. There is an abundance of research showing that when you burn fat, as on Atkins, you improve your cholesterol profile.

I do suggest you balance your fats, ie eat a variety of red meat, fish, chicken, olive oil, olives, avocado, nuts/seeds etc..

Before starting the plan, you should use the book as a guide to ensure that you follow the "rules of Induction" and then move through phases of the plan correctly.

If you have any other qestions, do not hesitate to ask. I wish you the best.

I try to stay away from transfats- I have never even been able to eat doughnut's or fried chicken, all greasy food makes me really nauseous. Ive been real inactive for a year, and I drank a ton of dark beer. Help's with pain-better than pills or so I thought till one day I was 275 lbs. Theres a wake up.

I havent cheated...yet Its my fourth day and Im feeling a thousand times better than yesterday

Thanks for all the info D.
