It is a wonderful website to keep track of your foods, weight, journals, anything. If you keep track of your foods, it will give you totals of how many grams you are consuming and the breakdown in percentages. They have two options for entering foods. You can choose a pre-selected food or you can enter your own in the custom food area. I recommend checking their totals because I find that it doesn't always match the labels on your foods so I end up custom entering a lot. Once you custom enter though, it stays with your food lists so you only have to enter it once. It will be a great help to measure how you are losing during a certain phase so that if you end up slowing down or stalling in your weight loss, your food entries can help you figure out what needs to be changed or kept the same. It just helped me figure out some problems, so I highly recommend it. Last edited by SaraS : 09-07-2004 at 02:50 PM. |

I hadn't checked out fitday in awhile and have been trying to get there for a few days but it isn't showing up. I'm assuming from this post that it's not gone...is it? I want it back!

A reminder that www.fitday.com uses total carb/protein/fat values in the chart, but if you click on the individual food items you'll get the precise nutritional data (1.7, etc.)
The majority of their data is from the USDA nutrition site, but there are a couple of errors! I don't recall the specific ones, though. ![]() |

How odd...I wonder why everyone else can get to it and I can't? From either computer in the house. They wouldn't be blocking all of comcast, would they?
Nevermind, I just checked it using anonymizer and it works so apparently they are blocking comcast. Phooey! Last edited by sixgallery : 09-08-2004 at 08:42 PM. |

I'm back again, sorry. I've disabled my firewall, cleared my cookies and tried the site on all four computers in the house. Still nothing so I'm pretty sure that they've blocked this ip or this range or something. I'm not sure why unless someone with an ip close to mine is a spammer or something. I tried contacting the feedback@fitday.com address in order to get an answer but haven't heard anything back. I'd at least like to order the software if I can't get to the site anymore but I can only visit certain pages with anonymizer. Could someone do me a huge favorite and check the support section of the software page and tell me if there's any other contact info I can use? Thanks!
