coming off induction....
I have been on induction for 7 weeks now and I feel really bad - I have lost over 25lbs and now weigh 149lbs (5ft 8). The problem is that I feel constantly light headed - my muscles are week. I have followed the diet to the letter (Vitamins, carb grams) and I now feel like I need to come off it and reintroduce carbs + I cant afford it + I have achieved my weight goal (and a bit more).
How do I come off safely and switch to a more balanced diet (naturally lower carbs) and how long will it take? Thanks so much! JJUKP |

Congrats on your success! I am glad you ask this question now and not a similiar one after you have gained some weight back.
Reintroduce carbs slowly and use the 4 phases of Atkins as a guide to help transition into a lifestyle of eating healthy. If you do not use the 4 phases of the plan and just add carbs back at random, what will you have learned for a long term eating strategy that will help you keep the weight off! Get the book, visit the website but you should stay in control of the amount and types of carbs you are consuming. |
