I am going to start the induction phase tomorrow, the first time I was on this I did not drink alot of water, I know I probley should have. How important is water and does it speed up your weight loss at all because I have a hard time drinking it but if it would help with the weight loss then I will do it.....

It is so important for you to drink at least eight 8-oz glasses of water a day to not only hydrate your body and avoid constipation, but also to flush out the by-products of fat burning. The water can be filtered, mineral, or spring water, but not seltzer as the carbonation may not have the same detox effect on the kidneys as pure water would. Water is the best option, but if you really have a hard time drinking this amount, some of your needs can be met with flavored drinks or diet soda sweetened with ingredients such as Splends.

water enhancement
I have a question for AN. I order the Atkins orange drink (splenda). Prepare a pitcher. Put about 1/3 in the glass and fill the rest up with water. This fulfils the flavor for me. Do you think I'm "legal" in doing this? I then can drink about 112 oz. per day easily and still pee like a race horse!!!
