Using Lard

someone ask me if Lard was ok to use. I've not been able to find any reference to it...........good or bad. They raise their own animals and make their own lard. so............what is the answer?

Yes, lard is ok.

I do suggest balancing different types of fats, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and saturated. Eating only one source of fat, ie lard is not ideal. Make sure you get other types of fats from other sources of food, ie olives, avocado, flax.
