Rules for this forum
The Atkins Nutritionists are our guests. Please be respectful toward them and not be argumentative. If you have a difference of opinion, you may share it, but in a respectful manner. Please do not keep questioning the same concepts multiple times or insist that future Atkins books or concepts take a certain direction. Do not use this forum to promote your own way of eating ideas. Do not do anything other than ask a question of the Atkins Nutritionists or ask for clarification of an answer. There are many other forums available on this site to discuss your own way of eating that may differ from the current official Atkins concepts.
There will be no banter within the threads between posters. This forum is for Atkins Nutritionists to answer questions and should not be used to chit chat back and forth... real questions tend to get lost in the shuffle. Please respect the value of peoples' time who would like to read questions and answers with the Atkins Nutritionists and not be distracted with arguments and chit chat. Any violation of these rules may result in you losing access to this particular forum. Also, please remember to follow the Terms of Service of this site, which can be found here: http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/policies.html Thank you.

The Newbiesite has a LOT of information... the rules for induction... acceptable food list...a carb/nutritional counter.. Menu samples.. FAQ... Fitday to track your progress, several tools no matter what phase of lowcarbing you are in and a whole lot more. It is a great site for newbies as well as the seasoned lowcarber. I would gladly weigh 300 pounds if I could be a size 6 (don't forget to measure... its the inches that show!) . Don't be a victim of Dieters remorse.. Don't cheat.. stay on plan!
