Induction and nuts
Why are nuts not allowed on induction? Now that more science has emerged on the role of fiber, 1 oz of pecans is very low in carbs if you are now netting your fiber.

Nuts are very calorically dense and very easy to overeat.......
Some are quite higher in carbs than others........ Did I say nuts are easy to overeat????????? I think nuts are an excellent addition to OWL. One great trick is to buy them unshelled. This helps limit your consumption. lkmjbc3 |

On Induction you are supposed to eat 3-4 cups of veggies, olives, avocado, lemon juice and cheese as sources of your carb intake because these foods are the least likely to cause cravings.
1 oz. of nuts can be added when you add an additional 5 grams to your plan. |
